To the sweetest girl in the world

Dear Princess Debbie,

Do you remember the birthday card you and Ben gave me 2 years ago? In it you wrote that I was the most pragmatic person you had ever met, and for that you loved me and trusted in me so much. That was the most beautiful birthday card I had ever received from anyone. I think back on the days we've had and I never fail to feel something warm inside me grow. Those frantic 'turning Florence's shed into an art-house' weeks, those night drives (though seldom) which bring us to the Jon Thia's neighbourhood, those BH park visits (and one in particular where we sat in the playground still innocent and sweet), those movie dates, those 3 am delirious moments where hysterical laughter just breaks out followed by some crazy-ass dances, and those times we woke up having to peel ourselves off each other. I admit that these beautiful moments we've shared aren't too many really, compared to some couples out there, and I know how much further I am from the guy you always expected to end up with.

Arguments have been breaking out between us from time to time, but I also know that arguments can be healthy if we both learn from it, and we have. I see how much you have learnt, especially the past few weeks, and I feel so proud. So proud that you have risen to where you are right now after experiencing such dark times, and finally loving yourself the way you deserve to be loved.

I love you Debbie. I love you because of the man you make me feel like. I love you because of how you show me care and affection like no one else has ever done. I love you because of the countless things you teach me. I love you because my heart breaks when I see you cry. I love you because of your honesty. I love you for your Eskimo kisses. I love you because I feel alive with you. I love you because you leave me facebook comments while we're talking face to face. I love you for your cuteness and your sincerity. I love you because of the way you call me 'bibi' in the mornings. I love the way you slowly open your eyes and let out the slightest, sweetest smile when you wake up. I love the way you get your hair in my face while you sleep, and quickly let out a 'hehe' while you bunch them up. I love the way you get slightly embarrassed while I act like a retard around K-mart. I love the way you can't wait for me to get home while I'm at work. I love how your gorgeous eyes sparkle. I love you because I can't help but smile at random times of the day, even on the balcony when I'm alone. I love you Debbie because it is you I want to take care of, and it is you I know I will always be there for, no matter what.

I've only read a couple of E.E.Cummings poems, but this one I remember clearly, and I think it best fits what I feel :)

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it (anywhere i go you go, me dear;
and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)
I want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)"

Big day big happenings

So, lets start off by saying that today was eventful, and lots of fun. Picked Tita Grace up off we went to Westfield Doncaster! She started off a lil shy hehe but warmed up soon enough. It was really packed today, strangely enough. Its been some time since I last visited a bustling mall, especially Westfield.

We had fish and chips first, which I really regret not taking a picture of because it was just yummy lor haha. We then went to the much talked about Jones the Grocer, and ordered a small Mocha and a Latte for Tita. The order came with a free cute little almond pastry with icing on the top, and so we sat there talking and waiting for our order to come.

Quick snapshot of Tita Grace and our pastry!

Okay so we were waiting, and waiting, and our order just never came. Tita had to go over the counter a couple of times to chase the order and apparently they serve takeaways first. So each time they told her that our order was next, their answer would be 'oh just another 3 more before yours comes up, gotta serve these guys first' the next time she checked. Brave Tita then stormed up to them and demanded her money back. So we left with a fuller tummy :) (Thank you Jones the Grocer for the delicious free pastry).

We seriously walked for 2-3 hours without stopping, first going to JB HI 5 where we checked out the ipads and the deals they had, and then stopping at almost every shoe store along the stretch. Boy were our feet tired after haha. To make up for the failed coffee attempt, we went straight to the ultimate experience Westfield could offer - Max Brenners!

Here is our little treat - Frosted Mountain Chocolate Muffin I think its called.

Here you see my deliciously delicious Milk Chocolate, with the magnificent Frosted Mountain backdrop. MMMM :P

Tita dear enjoying her skinny Latte, which she crowned the 'Elite' Latte haha

We then continued our great big walk around the little shopping mall, probably completing 4 laps by the end of it lol. We were rewarded for our effort with some unexpected Champagne hor! We both grabbed 2 glasses (Tita just asked for a little bit) and I poured half of mine into the bin because I didn't wanna turn red haha (and also the driving of course lest we forget :P).

Cheers!

Workday blues

Going to a morning lectures and having to sit there for 2 hours really does drain me out, especially when I know I've got work right after that. I've been going the past week like a good boy and most nights I really can't wait to get work over with, come home and relax on the couch with my baby on the screen (of course I would rather her be in my armpits but we can't all have everything).

Currently working on my assignment (yah, still man), with baby on the webcam while we both wait for WOW to finish updating the latest patch. Had quite the scare earlier on when her password retrieval email not coming at all haha, but alls good now. Wah I'm so tired im like fainting man!

Oh yah, and I met Eric for the first time at work today. He sure was a weird one. This is how the conversation went, word for word (because I remember it so clearly lor - unique situation don't mind me).

Me: Hi I haven't introduced myself before. I'm Andrew (extends hand to shake)
Eric: Gives out a super duper confused small, small, small smile (more like a twitch)

At this point there was about 5 seconds of awkward silence before he sees my hand and shakes it. This is then followed by another 5 seconds of me waiting for him to say something.

Me: Is there anything you need help with?
Eric scratches his head and looks around cluelessly, looks at the ground for sooo long like dunno thinking about what, then blurts out:
Eric: Umm... I think.. Maybe Ankit will tell you..

From then on everytime I walk by him and I smile, he just looks petrified. So weird hor. He doesn't smile at anyone that greets him, just keeps walking. The only person he responds to is the general manager lol.

Goodnight babygirl and the world

Glen goodies

Hello and welcome!
Just got out of the shower after a busy busy day (and soon to get busier with assignment), and I'm already sweating. I love hot weather lol. Its just nice to get out of bed or the shower and not having to turn on the heating or put on some long thick pants. Went out with Den today to get more research done, and THEN, did some shopping by myself after he left. Heres the goodies of the day!

Walked past footlocker and that's where the shopping begun! Those $10 runners i got from Coles has possibly one of the worst feet support ever. Feels like I'm running on concrete barefoot haiyo. So I boldly asked the sales assistant if any runners were less than $50 and voila! - The last pair left in the shop and also (in my opinion) one of the nicest ones. So good hor that buy! They were originally $110 I think but its old stock so they cut it down to $49.50.

Then, as I was paying I touched my palms and felt blisters coming along just below the joints of my fingers and it just hit me like a baseball hitting a bird - I need some gym training gloves! So off I strolled to Rebel and asked for the cheapest gloves. Their cheapest there was just ridiculous hor, $95 dollars! So I gave them the stink eye and continued walking along until I found this sport shop which I don't even remember the name of and found it. There it was hanging from the shelves calling out my name. Only $17!

There they are so beautiful

Okay, so I've gotta go down to the laundry now and then come back up and continue with the damn assignment. Lucky I have bebeko's company. Here are so more random pictures which I owe my babygirl.

Dinner for tonight and tomorrow night and the night after. I joke TEHE

My breakfast this morning - most successful egg ever Hooray!

The green curry for Tita and I :)

Quickie

I am now taeing with my laptop! The good ol' days lol. Feels like its been forever since I've done this. Been taeing in Uni because I've had to leave the house without taeing the past few days.

I tried to post the other day before I realized that my computer, as usual, doesn't have the bluetooth function. I should really ask for a bluetooth connector everytime I get a new laptop. Anyhoo, I'll be able to upload the photos in the post following this (later tonight) after I get a memory card reader thingy from the parent's house. Might pop over there for a lil bit after I take a shower, and then maybe have dinner with Tita Grace. Actually, I'll text her now to see if she wants to have Petaling or Korean.

Maybe babygirl will wanna watch a movie with me tonight? :)

One step at a time

So babygirl will be landing in Singapore in about 2 hours :) I hope her flight went fantastically well and she managed to say apple juice loud and clear. I on the other hand just finished part of my tutorial work due tomorrow and am gonna head off to bed soon. So damn tired and missing her so damn much already.

I went to the Fitness First in Syndal today, and I should give myself a little great big pat on my head (with the currently flat floppy hair). Still managed to put in 3 km of run! Well about 2.2 km of it was a run/sprint/jog, and the other 800m just pure brisk walking. Trying imagining my legs after that having been inactive for the longest time. It was sort of almost kinda like mango pudding in juice, with a lil bit of milk on the top. Soft and yummy. EEYUH what kind of imagery is that? But anyway, used some of the equipment that focuses on my back (upper and lower), abs, chest and arms (shoulders included). Actually, it wasn't as HC as it sounds haha. Most of the equipment I used I had to adjust the weight so I only did maybe 20kg (some of the bulky men there used almost 50). But I did use 35kg purely for my abs so that sorta stabilized my ego hehe. Alright I should probably head off now. I've got school tomorrow at 11am I think. Shall hopefully hear from my darling soon:)

1 more day?!

Girlfriend leaves on Tuesday, which is only a day away from today (which is technically Sunday). But because its already 10.35 pm, I shall consider Sunday over and officially pronounce today, Monday. I am gonna miss that gorgeous girl so much. This apartment will miss so many things. One will obviously be the random dance break-outs, typically the chicken/hamster dance. There is also the random yet intense exercise move in which she bends her knees, focuses intently on her target, suddenly thrusts herself up whilst balancing on the balls of her left foot and swings a powerful, stinging kick to the ass (the ass actually refers to my rear, but information has been left out for an easy read). Exactly how this exercise came about I will never understand. There is also that daily proclamation of boredom and last but not least, that unique and 'sometimes sexy' 5-tone laughter. I shall not go into detail with that one.

So anyway, this blog, rightfully titled the chicken dance blog, is dedicated to my one and only, and shall hold regular updates on my daily activities and whatnot. So to my babygirl, have a wonderful flight to Singapore (watch lots and lots of movies on the plane) and be sure to gather enough focus from your diaphragm before saying 'Applaee Juice!' to the stewardess. I shall be seeing you very soon and we'll be having the best holiday yet! I love you so much.
